I have been in the healthcare and auditing field for over twenty years, with my most recent experience as a Subject Matter Expert I graduated with my Master's from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC and my Bachelor's from SUNY Institute of Technology in Utica, NY.
Currently, I assist in managing audits on a contractual basis. Previously I managed teams related to healthcare audits at KPMG working with providers and MCO's. I have also worked as a Subject Matter Expert related to Medicaid Program Integrity and MCO's, a contractor on Medicaid Integrity Contract (MIC) Audits for CMS, a Sr. Internal Auditor for the NC Dept. of Health and Human Services as well as a Compliance Auditor for the State of NC Dept. of Public Safety.
I am a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Governmental Auditing (CGAP) through the IIA, Certified in Healthcare Compliance through the Compliance Certification Board, and an Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator through the National Health Care Anti-fraud Association.
I am married with two sons and reside near Raleigh, NC. When I get free time I enjoy concerts, music, a good Netflix binge, and traveling.
